"The 2021 Expressùes is an Alvarinho from their Quinta da Torre estate, a mixture of the eight different soils, the eight textures they have identified in the property, selected in the vineyard (they don't have a sorting table). The wine wants to be the expression of the place, not a specific plot or soil. It fermented in used 400-liter barrels, where it matured for nine months with full lees, and was kept in bottle for no less than 18 months, until it was released. It has the volume of the alluvial soils and the freshness from the year, with developed aromas and very good acidity, 12.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.32 and 6.5 grams of sugar. This is balanced, perfect for drinking and has potential to age in bottle. 6,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2022."
