"Les Titans is a wine of feral herbaceousness, ferrous minerality and meaty, briny depths. Truly grown on the climatic edge in Annapolis on the cold West Sonoma Coast. Effusive aromatics spill forth with aromas of wild violets, smoky clove, savoury meatiness, briny black olives, and dried herbs. The palate offers pulsing tension and verve. Red currants and tart sour cherries are given over to crushed black stone, smoky soy and chicory root, finishing with white and green peppercorn."

"Deeply brooding aromas of blackberry bush, graphite, olive brine and cured game meats. The palate is vibrant and racy with finely integrated tannins and bright acidity, showing damson plums, spices, cinnamon bark, cedar and dried herbs. Built to last years in bottle."

"The 2022 Syrah Estate Les Titans is a heady, exotic wine that delivers loads of blue/purplish fruit, black pepper, sage and mint. In 2022, the Titans is less savory and peppery than it often is, while the texture feels a bit compressed."

"The 2022 Estate Syrah Les Titans explodes with perfume! Cassis and boysenberry are complemented by nuances of cast iron, grilled meats and violet. The medium-bodied palate is just as open and generous. Its fragrant flavors are structured by youthfully grippy tannins and juicy acidity, and it has a long, flavorful finish. It will benefit from several years in the cellar. 325 cases were made, and it will be released in February 2026."

"This deftly balances elegance with restrained muscle, with notes of lilac, lavender and white pepper against an expressive blackberry core, accented by hints of anise. Bolstered by fresh acidity, allowing the flavors to play out around hints of cured meat and fine-structured tannins. 286 cases made. - AR"

"Lifted aromas of concentrated raspberry, violet and anise dominate the nose of this silky textured cool climate Syrah. The palate brings concentrated flavors of blackberry coulis, floral mélange, orange peel and black pepper with seamless tannin-acid integration and a lively, energetic finish that goes on for ages. "The 2021 Estate Syrah Les Titans is youthfully coiled and takes plenty of time to unwind in the glass. After several minutes, it reveals scents of blueberry jam, cassis, grilled meats, dried herbs and lavender. The full-bodied palate has concentrated, floral flavors, clay-textured tannins, a bright spine of acidity and a long, detailed and spicy finish. It has the structure and concentration to age very well in bottle."

"The 2020 Syrah Les Titons is ripe and more brooding, with savory tones of olive, blackberry, plum, and ripe earth. Full-bodied and pure, it has a fantastic, gripping structure and is more grounded but weightless. Drink 2025-2040."

"The 2020 Estate Syrah Les Titans has a medium ruby-purple color and gregarious aromas of cassis, menthol and bitter chocolate plus wafts of blueberry. The full-bodied palate has a dense core of fruit with a light, charry woodsmoke-like character, slightly chewy tannins and a gently rustic finish. It's more savory than usual and may have been impacted by the challenges of the vintage. Drink it over the next 2-3 years."

"The 2020 Les Titans is laced Wirth silky, inky blue/purplish fruit and rosemary. In most vintages, the Titans is marked by strong savory, peppery qualities, but in the 2020, the style is more forward and fruit-driven. That, along with relatively tamed tannins makes me think the 2020 will drink well pretty much upon release"
