"Gaston Chiquet is producing several Special Club bottlings now, with village-specific bottlings that are not done every year, and the 2017 Champagne Grand Cru Special Club Vazelle Brut is a parcel selection that™s only produced when it can be blended to 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. I love this wine, which is very pretty and very fresh, with notes of ripe pineapple, pastry cream, fresh hazelnut, and pastry. With a ripe, silky, supple texture of glycerin and citrus oil, it has a touch more decadence and is an exceptional wine from this estate to be enjoyed over the long haul. It's wild to have this kind of clarity without high alcohol, and I would be just thrilled to drink this one. Only about 3,000 bottles were produced. 3 grams per liter dosage."
