• IPA cask-finished Single Malt Whisky from Mars Shinshu in Nagano, Japan
• Distilled in copper pot stills from 100% lightly peated malted barley
• Non-age statement; aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-IPA casks sourced from Minami Shinshu Brewery
• Citrus and hops come in waves on the palate displaying grapefruit zest and bitter orange on a foundation of malt depth
• 180 bottles released in the US
• Non-chill filtered; 52% ABV

This is the the third release of Komagatake IPA Cask, and as its predecessors, uses finishing casks sourced a stone’s throw away at Minami Shinshu Beer Co., which is located right on the Mars Shinshu property and is Nagano’s first craft beer producer.
