• Distilled from a vatting of unpeated malted barley and malted barley lightly peated to an average of 1.6 PPM
• Distilled in copper pot stills
• Aged an average of 3–4 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished for approximately 6 months in ex-IPA casks from Minami Shinshu that previously held Ogna
• An expressive nose of fresh herbs, pineapple, and bitter citrus leads to a palate of ruby red grapefruit peel, candied orange, pine, and pineapple cake with a lightly smoky finish

Minami Shinshu is Mars Hombo’s very own brewery, located right on the grounds of Mars Komagatake. For this latest release, Mars single malt is finished in casks that held Ogna IPA, a brightly hopped beer that lends jewel-toned-citrus bitterness to the whisky.
