• Rich and full-bodied with honey-like sweetness and lustrous fruit, exhibiting gentle smoke and malt on the finish

Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu II is the debut release from the new Chichibu Distillery, opened in 2019 and located just down the road from the original. Five times larger than its sister distillery, and featuring directly fired stills and French oak washbacks, Chichibu II was built both to satisfy the incredible worldwide demand for Ichiro Akuto’s whiskies, but also to drive the evolution of the house style.
