"Coming from a small block of Jura suitcase cuttings on the estate, the 2023 Savagnin is so compelling. Incredibly textural, with striking complexity and purity, the 2023 boasts clearly defined mineral inflections that frame nutty, slightly oxidized orchard fruit, leesy salinity and a whiff of mountain herbs. At once both creamy and driven, the Savagnin is a wine of great inner contrasts and clarity. This variety could be very, very successful in this part of the world."

"The 2023 Sangiovese Estate Grown is a lovely wine that pays equal homage to the variety and its origins in Ballard Canyon. It opens with a pleasant, red-fruited nose accented by dried flower, turned earth and orange bitters aromas. The palate combines a suave, sleek core with quenching acidity and dusty tannins that carry it through to a sturdy, chalky finish that speaks strongly of the Stolpman estate."
