"Bottled under screwcap, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc Hopkins Ranch pours a pale silver straw color and has a bright, elegant, floral and tropical feel, offering notes of guava, quince, white grapefruit, and saline. Coming from 45-year-old vines, it's medium-bodied and has a great, refreshing feel, with a lovely saline freshness, a note of dewy earth, and a clean finish. Highly refreshing and versatile, it has a great Sancerre-like application with a chalky texture. Drink over the next few years."

"Just bottled, the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Hopkins Ranch is bright, crisp and refreshing. Lime, white flowers and brisk acids give 2024 notable freshness and immediacy. Best of all, it's a fine value, too."

"Aromas of lemon pith, mandarins and grapefruit. The light-bodied palate has a generous, pithy texture and tangy acidity, showing lime sherbet, banana skin and orange blossoms with a salty, herbal finish. Delicious and focused. Drink now. Screw cap."

"The Cep Sauvignon Blanc, Peay's second label, comes from Bob Hopkins' Hopkins Ranch in the Russian River Valley. While this isn't an estate wine, it's a standout at an incredible value of $25, with only 450 cases produced. You get bright, citrusy, salty notes on the nose with a mix of lemon, underripe nectarines, and a touch of perfumed mandarin. The palate is crisp and mineral-driven, with vibrant fruit and a zippy acidity that keeps it fresh. It's easy, delicious, and comes in a sleek Alsace flute bottle, which is light, easy to carry, and picnic-ready."
