"This wine shows balanced richness and extra phenolic weight. The Estate Argyros 2019 Santorini Assyrtiko Cuvee Evdemon is quite a wine, and you would not be wrong to pair it with heavier dishes based on pork or even lamb. It definitely has the texture and intensity to stand up to spicy and flavorful dishes from the Eastern Mediterranean or Asia. Pronounced aromas of preserved lemon, dried apricot, salted almond and Turkish delight add to the complexity of the bouquet and the creamy texture of the mouthfeel. However, this vintage plays its strongest cards on the palate thanks to its firm concentration, structure and length. This vintage (and the 2020 starting now) are currently on the market."

"Gleaming with white peach, lemon posset and fresh lime blossom with a succulent salty mineral character and vibrant drive of citrus acidity which glides towards the finish line."

"The 2019 Santorini Cuvée Evdemon knocks it out of the park, sourced from a high-altitude, biodynamically cultivated vineyard in Pyrgos dominated by fierce, cool winds that lead to longer ripening cycles and later harvesting. Pronounced lime zest, glistening minerals, straw, pastry and grapefruit are all dialed up. Touching the full-bodied palate with elevated flavor concentration neatly anchored by a firm acidic core, the 2019 is powerful yet energetic and finesse-driven, with stunning tension on the long finale."

"This focused and savory white has notes of grapefruit, oyster shells, pineapple and worm salt on the nose, with light ash undertones. It™s full-bodied but tense and agile with a steely, saline quality. Drink or hold."

"A touch spicy/mealy but mostly the mineral/citrus of the Argyros Assyrtiko style. Complex flavours, with the oak in the background except in the incredibly creamy texture. Full in the mouth even with all this freshness. Rich and mouth-watering at the same time. The alcohol is high yet well integrated. (JH)"
