"An herbal red with just enough tannin, the 2023 Sparkling Red Wine Rouge Brute is 33% Merlot, 33% Albariño, 24% Carignan, and 10% Primitivo aged 10 months in barrel and given eight months en tirage. It offers medium-bodied weight and red fruit sweetness, umami, and buzzy acidity. Lower pressure and less carbonation make the bubbles subtle, the palate more textured, finished with a hint of Dr. Pepper."
