"Seductively broody at first, it opens beautifully in the glass; allow plenty of time in the glass for it to reveal its multiple, intricate layers of fruit, herbs, smoke and flowers. Cranberry, poached cherries, bergamot, dried figs and fleshy nectarines dance harmoniously with Rooibos tea, rockrose and hibiscus. Very long finish, with lingering walnut honey and lemon curd unctuosity. A white Port of great complexity, depth and character."

"Quite a serious white port. Expect briny freshness with blanched almonds, kelp and white nuts. Though round, intense and sweet, it shows more savoriness than sweetness, with a long, integrated finish. Bottled in 2023. Drink now."

"Mid gold. Deep but somehow biting aroma of mixed peel and honeyed apricots. Very sweet, with those same flavours and a note of barley sugar (a very British hard candy) on the finish. The alcohol shows a little on the finish. Vibrant fruit and long finish. It should keep longer than this but is unlikely to change much or improve. It is pretty much designed for immediate drinking but there's no rush. (JH)"
