"The 2024 Pinot Noir Chimera comes from a blend of sites across the Russian River Valley. A medium ruby red color, it reveals floral and elegantly spiced aromatics of fresh cherries, cranberry, dusty earth, and clove. Medium-bodied, it has snappy lift on the palate while still offering approachable ripe fruit through an even and mouthwatering finish. It spent 11 months in neutral French oak, and 18,060 bottles were produced. It has a lot to offer on release and should show its best over the coming 7-8 years."

"The 2024 Pinot Noir Chimera is bold and exuberant, with lovely forward fruit and fine balance. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, cedar, blood orange and pomegranate fill out the layers. In most vintages, the Chimera is ready to drink upon release, but this is a rare vintage that will benefit from 6-12 months in bottle."

"The 2023 Pinot Noir Chimera is a terrific introduction to this range. A burst of dark red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender, sweet spice, blood orange and pomegranate make a strong first impression. Juicy yet vibrant, the 2023 is all class."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Chimera is laced with crushed red berry, mint, orange peel and white pepper. This pliant, mid-weight Pinot is all charm, as it often is. It,s also a ridiculous value. Dark red/purplish fruit, rose petal, lavender and sweet spice are nicely pushed forward in this supple, mid-weight offering, - By Antonio Galloni on December 2023"
