"Composed of predominately Cariñena with a small portion of Monastrell and produced solely with pressed whole clusters, the 2023 Old Vine Pale is on a short list of stunning rosés I tasted from Chile. A savory, exotic bouquet of apple skin, tangerine, white cherries and wild herbs leads to an oily yet delicate, precise and focused palate. It closes with a mouthwatering, complete nature that most rosés lack; I imagine it will drink quite well beyond what most readers reasonably expect from the style."

"Pure peach skins, apricot pits. cherry stones and dried herbs. Textural and round, with fresh, zingy acidity and a bone-dry center palate and finish. Pithy end with a phenolic twist. Drink now."

"The 2023 Old Vine Pale Rosé - Lot 123 blends 95% Cariñena with 5% Monastrell, sourced from Empedrado in the Maule Region. Pale cherry-red in color, the 2023 presents aromas of sour cherry and watermelon with a subtle herbal layer. Dry, delicate and refreshing, it reveals a vibrant fruit core that lingers—a delicious and easygoing Rosé."
