"A great expression of the famous Hermannshöhle site, this is a gentle giant of a dry Riesling. The nose is as complex as a 17th-century still life painting with rows of fruit and flowers almost perfectly arranged. The medium-bodied palate is very similar, marrying succulence, structure and finesse in a nearly ideal manner. And all of this finds its completion in the fabulously long finish. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Magnus is a selection of the best parcels, chosen once the wines are made, from across the site. A large portion of this was made in various sizes of wood. Stone and lemon zest travel alongside a delicate hayflower scent. The palate is the picture of poise. A zesty, slender, streamlined body thrills with freshness, direction and elegance. The 2023 is intense, chiseled, precise and linear, so clean-cut. What a total joy. (Bone-dry)"

"#52 Top 100 Wines of Germany 2025: How cool is this, in every sense of the word. It™s hard to find the right words for this extraordinary wine, because saying that it™s on the herbal side of peachiness sounds odd, but is exactly right for what this wine is. Enormous depth and concentration on the ample, medium-bodied palate, then a massive but beautifully balanced finish. Drink or hold."

"A great dry riesling! The ripe yellow fruits of southerly lands, but also a fantastic freshness. Beneath this interplay on the surface of the wine is a fantastic spicy and mineral complexity that pulls you deep down into the depths of the earth. Enormous aging potential! Drink or hold."
