"A rich, botrytized Auslese that nonetheless has an impressive freshness and delicacy. The power and concentration are both underplayed, but they drive this over the palate with great energy. So pure and clean in the extremely long finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Lieserer Niederberg Helden Auslese Goldkapsel was made with around 20-25% botrytized fruit. The nose features Mirabelle jelly edged with bright lemon zest. The palate holds candied lemon peel and more Mirabelle jelly, smooth, bright, fresh and beautifully sweet. Fluidity and slight viscosity underline how compact, slender and bright this is. The finish rings long with Mirabelle and lemon purity."

"An unctuous, nectarlike version that manages to stay light on its feet, offering ethereal purity. Apple tart, peach and pear blossom notes are silky and streamlined, with savory tones of snap pea and chives for freshness. Shows real concentration and power. Crushed slate lines the long finish, which is cleaned up with racy, salty lime acidity. Delicious. Drink now through 2046.—K.B."

"A concentrated and very succulent Mosel Auslese in the 2022 context with fine floral honey character married to ripe apricot and papaya aromas. Serious power behind the richness and although this is not a high-acidity vintage the finish is very clean and straight. You can certainly drink this now but the generous grape sweetness will integrate even better. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2025."
