"Among the more unique wines within an already distinctive lineup is the 2021 La Dama del Abrigo Rojo. It derives from a mix of pergola, trellised and goblet vines planted to 10,000 vines per hectare, fermented in 500-liter and matured in 225-liter barrique. It opens with a definitive, textbook bouquet of dried cherries, potpourri and asphalt delivered with stunning clarity and nuance. The palate beautifully combines a sumptuous, rich texture with sleek, focused elegance, transitioning to a searing, persistent and ultra-refined finish that highlights stony minerality over the tannic payload one expects from the variety. This is a refreshingly unique expression of Uco Valley that I look forward to following past its 10th birthday."

"The nose is slightly shy, revealing subtle red-berry nuances. The palate is more expressive, showing concentrated blue fruit with a savory edge and a juicy, succulent finish. A wine that's truly delicious and effortlessly drinkable. Drink now."
