• A nose of myrrh, raspberry seed, and savory, whole-leaf tobacco evokes a forest setting before fresh pomegranate pops on the palate followed by a complex finish of brûléed sugar, freshly grated cinnamon, and stemmy herbs
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 60% ABV

Cask #1 of a planned 20 in the Bakemono Zukushi “Monster” Scroll-inspired series depicts Oyashirome, a creature with a crooked claw on its hairy, one-fingered hand and an eye on the back of its head, conjuring notions of the all-seeing third eye. Hailing from the Mars Komagatake Distillery in Nagano, this single cask selection reflects the location’s elegant and fruity house style.
