  • Produced from 2/3 unmalted barley and 1/3 white koji barley

  • Single distilled in stainless steel pot stills
  • Aged a minimum of 18 years in ex–Oloroso sherry casks
  • Aromas of dried red fruit, saltwater taffy, cacao, and mushroom precede a palate brimming with molasses, cooked squash, vanilla, and cola with orange, black cherry, and graham cracker on the finish
  • Non-chill filtered; 42% ABV

The oldest of the Hakata whiskies is a glorious and decadent expression of liquid luxury. The confluence of oak spice, dried fruit, and umami make for a massive whisky that demands to be savored slowly and often.
