"A deeper yellow hue, the NV Champagne La Vallee Suspendue Extra Brut is a blend of 80% Meunier with 15% Pinot Noir and a splash of Chardonnay, and half is perpetual reserve wine started in 1999, along with 2016. It™s a more mature wine all around, layered with notes of porcini mushrooms, wet stones, ginger, plum, baked golden apples, baked bread, and poached citrus. Medium to full-bodied, the palate amplifies the volume and has broader shoulders, with a frothy mousse, savory salinity, and a long-lasting finish. It™s an impressive wine with a lot of autumnal character and would be great with root vegetables and roast chicken. Aged for 72 months sur latte, it was disgorged in June 2023, with a 4 gram per liter dosage. It™s ready to drink now. Drink 2025-2035."
