"With its aromas of ripe yellow apples and sliced pears, this sleek, barely medium-bodied dry riesling has plenty of charm. Juicy mid-palate, then a slightly austere finish with a touch of minty coolness. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Kinheimer Rosenberg Spätlese trocken offers a touch of peach and a shimmer of Mirabelle on the nose. The palate is exquisitely light and beautifully serene, with an easy touch and a light hand. This wine is dreamy, dry, serene and simply seductive."

"From a vineyard with traditional single-pole training, the 2023 Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling Spätlese trocken offers a delicate bouquet of ripe and lush Riesling fruit intertwined with delicate, flinty notes. Round and pleasing on the palate, this is a light yet lush and fruity Spätlese with delicate acidity and fine grip. Johannes and his son Sebastian Selbach have been cultivating the former Merkelbach vineyards since 2020 and have kept the brand alive. It was bottled with eight grams per liter of residual sugar and 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at Selbach-Oster in January 2026."

"With its aromas of peaches and spiced pears, this is an expressive, barely medium-bodied dry riesling. Not bone dry, but the tiny touch of unfermented grape sweetness neatly balances the bright, slatey acidity. Drink or hold."

"The 2024 Riesling Kinheimer Rosenberg Spätlese trocken is from a parcel in the mid-slope on single stakes. It shimmers with citrus peel, quince and red apple notes. Despite its exquisite lightness, the 2024 is a supple, creamy, dreamy featherweight. Dry"

"From blue slate, the 2022 Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling Spätlese opens with a coolish, clear and finely flinty bouquet with spontaneous fermentation aromas. Lush and round on the palate, this is a savory, saline and tensioned Spätlese that is grippy and still reduced in its texture but very promising. The acidity is vivacious and fresh but also fine and intermingled with persistent salinity. 8.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023."
