"This expressive wine features prominent oak flavors alongside pronounced spice notes, making it a standout for those who appreciate such richness. Rich flavors are thankfully complemented by vibrant acidity, while a hint of saltiness enhances its mineral character. The finish is incredibly long, inviting you to savor each sip. "The 2022 Riesling Deidesheimer Kieselberg Grosses Gewächs will be released in March. It is drawn from one used tonneau, even though new tonneau will also make it into the blend. This tonneau is vivid with juicy, golden peach. The palate is juicy and creamy with that marriage of peach and creamy oak, striking with a slightly astringent phenolic edge and concentrated on the mid-palate. Juiciness is the name of the game, with vivacious freshness and slightly phenolic, peach- and lemon-infused length. Bone-dry"

"A very creamy expression of this site, but there™s nothing overdone about this elegant, medium- to full-bodied and quite citric Kieselberg. Fine tannins in the long, well-structured finish with a hint of caramel. From organically grown grapes. Drink from release."

"The 2024 Riesling Deidesheimer Kieselberg Grosses Gewächs is from a pebbly plateau that is both ventilated and warm. This fermented in tonneaux. There™s oaky smoke, juicy greengage and white peach on the nose. The palate is alive with lemony brightness that cuts through oak and stone fruit to present a bright, vivid line of direction. Bone-dry"

"The 2023 Riesling Deidesheimer Kieselberg Grosses Gewächs, from a site that is both ventilated and warm, was made entirely in tonneaux with 20% new wood. Bright, lively notes of Reine Claude plum meet with a superb frisson of crushed lemon balm and lifted lemon peel. The palate holds bright juiciness that is aligned to tart yellow plum and a touch of tangerine. Streamlined, taut, concentrated and vividly bright, this lovely GG is so open and so very charming.
