"The 2022 Inseparable offers a slightly darker-fruited, more structured profile than the comparatively lithe and lifted 2021 I tasted next to it and will likely benefit from a bit of extra bottle aging to reveal its full potential. It opens with a subtle, herbal and black-fruited nose that gradually gains amplitude in the glass, introducing a svelte, elegantly concentrated palate retaining the finesse that defines the Per Se Range. It closes with a delineated, fine-grained and pleasantly drying finish."

"The 2022 Malbec Inseparable is sourced from the Monasterio hill in Gualtallary, capturing both the slopes and the lower areas. This oak-free wine is pure and purple in hue, revealing aromas of violets, lavender, plum and blueberries, with a delicate layer of mountain herbs. Dry and smooth, it offers a concentrated yet nimble flow, featuring fine fruit and a long-lasting flavor. The slightly clingy texture is complemented by hints of grapefruit and herbs on the palate. It is a high-elevation wine with great purity and expression."

"The 2021 Malbec Inseparable, from El Monasterio in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, spent a winter in concrete vats. Purple in color. The enticing primary nose presents crushed plum, cherry, violets and faint lavender undertones. The tea-like palate has a juicy, refreshing, taut flow that delivers alluring fruity and floral flavors before the lengthy finish. The 2021 is an oxymoron in a glass: a delicate, nuanced, but raw, high-altitude wine."

"The 2021 Inseparable derives from calcareous sand and gravel soils in the Vi¤a Unica del Monasterio, a lower-elevation section of the property first planted by the monks in 2010. It was entirely destemmed and fermented in proprietary two-ton concrete vats and matured for 12 months. Opening with a pure, poised and floral bouquet, the palate balances elegantly plush power with silky, vibrant clarity. It concludes with a bright, high-toned, finessed finish framed with measured tannins that continue to swell with aeration."

"The 2020 Inseparable comes from a warm and dry year, when they picked earlier and achieved a wine with lower alcohol than the 2019 that I tasted next to it, 14% here versus 14.5% in 2019‡half a degree that was noticeable. It's juicier and more approachable too, and it feels fine-boned and balanced, with good acidity. Since 2019, the wine is kept unoaked, fermented and matured in concrete for 12 months. It's a more approachable vintage with fine-grained tannins. 6,000 bottles were filled in February 2021, as it was a lower-yielding year."

"The 2020 Malbec Inseparable hails from calcareous gravel soils in the Uco Valley and spent a winter in concrete vats. Purple in the glass. The nose features enticing violet, plum and herb aromas. Taut and a little chalky on the palate, the delicate, mouthwatering flow precedes a compact, energetic finish. It's an alluring wine with a sun-kissed character due to the year."
