"This deep white has aromas of thyme, sage, white pepper and lemon rind, followed by wonderful salty minerality on the palate. It™s medium- to full-bodied, sleek and firm. Hints of pepper and tobacco at the end. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold."

"Very youthful but with great refinement, concentration and a really firm structure, this gruner veltliner from the famous Lamm vineyard has been built for the ages. More lemon blossom than lemon with deep minerality and fine tannins in the extremely long and silky finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification."

"A sleek, attractive Grüner, with a plump core of fruit buttressed by grapefruit pith acidity, salt and flinty mineral notes. Chrysanthemum and meadow blossoms add high tones. Smoke wafts on the structured finish, which shows real depth. Elegant and refreshing. Drink now through 2030. 25 cases imported."

"Gentle, creamy aroma gives way to tangy stony/mineral herbal note. Already showing some complexity. Firm, creamy, generous yet relatively soft in terms of acidity " at least in perception of acidity, though there is a kick of freshness at the very end. (JH)"

"The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Lamm was fermented in stainless steel and matured half in stainless steel, half in acacia barrel. The nose opens with moss, ivy, crushed chervil and just a little sage. These notions are bedded on yeast and framed with citrus, coming to the fore on the beautifully salty palate. This is a tingling blanket of yeastiness that is alive with lemon and pepper"textural, smooth, cooling, vivid. All the roundness of Gruner is here but in a beautifully svelte and linear package. The finish is resonant and seems to expand, ringing long afterwards. (Bone-dry)"

"Hirsch's citrus-colored Kammern 2022 Grüner Veltliner Ried Lamm 1–TW opens with a medium-intense, fresh and finely spicy bouquet of citrusy white fruits, lentils and crushed almonds. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this is a lush, quite dense and elegant Lamm with delicate tannins and tart lime bitters on the finish that reveals fine, mineral acidity and medium length. This is a very elegant Veltliner to be paired with spicy yet too hot and spicy dishes. 13% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in December 2023."

"The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Lamm is shy on the nose, offering tender notes of yeast that have a touch of fresh salsify and only the merest shimmer of green pear and moss. The 2021 has immediate zestiness and is suffused with the finest, saltiest yeast, while white pepper merely glistens from afar. A beautifully elegant, powerful, yet bundled Lamm with much drive, this is all toned muscle, all intent, all future. It is compact but completely harmonious. Wow. (Bone-dry)"

"The 2017 Grüner Veltliner Lamm is a re-release from reserves in the cellar and was bottled in late July 2018. Crushed yarrow and salty white miso on the nose give no hint of age; on the contrary, this is superbly fresh and expressive with all its varietal savor. The palate is smooth, with a texture reminiscent of herbal tisane, a touch of verbena, beautiful fluidity and fresh roundness. A smattering of white pepper appears on the finish, which could be slightly longer. This wine has merely started on its trajectory and is exquisite right now."
