"Walter Glatzer’s vineyards are centered around the town of Göttlesbrunn, organically farmed in loess soils. He ferments and ages his grüner veltliner in stainless steel, building a tight, floral and mineral wine with generous umami depths. This 2021 is long and lingering, with warm notes of peat and white cranberry. The earthy, acidic bite in the end makes for a great accompaniment to pike quenelles."
