"The 2024 Grenache Hofer Vineyard returns in tremendously distinctive form. A totally unique wine, it oozes with tea-like complexity and structure, coming across like an infusion of rhubarb, cranberry, amaro herbs, bergamot and graphite. Incredibly complex for such a delicate, translucent wine, the 2024 backs it all up with deceptively upright structure. There,s not much else like this in the United States, or the world, for that matter."

"Pale to light ruby, close to a rosé in colour. Smells of Pu-erh tea, strawberries and road dust. Flavours of rhubarb and sour cherry have a lovely brightness as faint tannins add grip. Notes of herbs and aged Chinese tea emerge on the finish along with road dust. Unique and compelling. VGV (AY)"
