"The 2022 Grenache Bessan Vineyard emerges from a site in Santa Clara planted in 1910. It's one of the best and most distinctive wines in the lineup of Graces. Sadly, production was a measly 42 cases. Readers will find a deep, structured wine of real character and pedigree. A burst of red cherry fruit, white pepper, mint and crushed flowers builds into the long, sustained finish."

"Another outstanding wine from Angela Osborne, the 2022 Grenache Besson Vineyard is all varietal from a vineyard in Santa Clara County. Solid aromatics of peppery herbs, leather, loamy soil, and graphite give way to a medium-bodied wine offering solid fruit, a firm, focused mouthfeel, and good length. As with all of these reds, it comes closer to a Pinot Noir than a Grenache in style, yet it has plenty of structure. Give it a year in bottle for the tannins to soften."
