"Fabulous nose of peaches and apricots, plus notes of their blossoms. Concentrated, succulent and very elegant on the precisely contoured, medium-bodied palate. Alongside the deep fruit is a wealth of crushed rock minerality that makes the finish glitter in a totally fascinating way. You can drink it now, but what a future this Nahe masterpiece has ahead of it. Drinkable now, but best from 2026."

"The 2023 Riesling Goldloch GG is deep, clear and savory on the intense and floral, slightly iodine-inflected nose. Pure, refined and grippy on the palate, this is a tensioned Riesling with ripe and juicy fruit and a long, savory and saline bitter finish. It's aromatic, fresh and stimulating saline. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Burg Layen in February 2025."

"The 2023 Riesling Dorsheimer Godlloch Grosses Gewächs immediately shines with the freshest, ripest Amalfi lemon on the nose. With air, a lovely note of creaminess appears. The palate is all lemony brightness, backed by a yeasty undertow that brings body to counter all that nerve. Beautiful and vibrant. Bone-dry"

"Smells like ripe peach and mirabelle, and the distinctive floral notes that often mark the site. Citrus and stony spice jump into the mix, bringing concentration, depth and a stony through-line. Vibrant and grippy, with generous yet highly contoured charm. PS"

"The 2022 Riesling Goldloch GG is from gravelly soils and opens with an intensely fruity and just slightly flinty but saline nose. Elegant and refined on the palate, this is a frisky, saline and stimulating Riesling. Not as sophisticated as Pittermännchen or even Schlossberg, this is a full-bodied but fresh and savory Riesling with lemon-bitters on the elegant and inviting finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Burg Layen in February 2025."

"The 2022 Riesling Dorsheimer Goldloch Grosses Gewächs is grown on Permian quartzite and pebble conglomerate. Subtle stone fruit is framed by lemon on the nose. A touch of pear peel adds a riper top note. The palate has an inherent, juicy coolness and a pithy yet soothing texture and concentration. The mouth-watering finish brings out more fruit: juicy green apple, tart Mirabelle and lemon. A gentle herbal savoriness lingers alongside citrus on the finish. (Bone-dry)"

"This bursts with expressive flavors that showcase a delightful medley of fruit and spice. Notes of ripe peach and citrus intertwine with hints of baking spice, creating a dynamic profile. Its balance and vibrancy make it a great wine for spicy food. Skurnik Wines, Inc. "A.Z."
