"The golden fruit aromas pull you inexorably into this great dry riesling. Profound chalky minerality, but also fantastic delicacy and subtlety. Gently builds to a warm finish that has an almost endless afterglow. From very old vines in a warm site with limestone soil. From organically grown grapes. Vinified completely in large neutral oak. Drink or hold."

"The 2024 Riesling Gau-Algesheimer Goldberg was made from vines planted in 1968 and 1988 rooted in a site of calcareous marl and limestone on the Westerberg. This fermented in oak only. Its funky reduction still shows some yeastiness, but underneath that, smokiness surrounds peach, creaminess and juicy Mirabelle notes alongside a touch of wet walnut. The palate has wonderful juiciness, real verve, yeasty depth and so much concentration. This is beautifully zesty and cool. Bone-dry"

"Very elegant in spite of its impressive concentration, this medium-bodied dry riesling is a refined expression of Rheinhessen™s Burgundian side. The white peach and red apple aromas are subtly underlain by wonderful herbal and leesy complexity in the long, stony finish. From organically grown grapes. Vinified completely in large neutral oak. Drink or hold."
