"Terrific drive for a village wine, with an exciting interplay of garden-herb and citrus-zest aromas. Very dry and crisp on the sleek, barely medium-bodied palate, followed by an extremely energetic and stony finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap."

"Sleek and racy with delicate aromas of jasmine, lemon and Amalfi lemon, this is a well-structured and very mineral village wine with vibrant acidity driving the long, almost steely, finish. Drink or hold."

"The 2022 Riesling Burg Layer is harvested on the Schlossberg site on red Permian soils, fermented in both stainless steel and Stück and stays on lees until the following summer. The nose is aromatic, apple-scented and somewhat tender. The palate is juicy and has a hint of tart apple and a yeasty backdrop which combines well with its slender, fresh, dry nature. The finish is full of lemon pith. (Bone-dry)"
