"Entirely Chardonnay from a vineyard with east exposure planted in 1954, the 2021 Champagne Grand Cru Oger Lieu Dit Coin Gris Brut Nature offers fresh pear, pretty floral citrus, and fresh mint notes. I love the clarity and focus of this wine on the nose, while on the palate, it™s medium-bodied, with a fine, stony texture, a light, spicy mousse, and good length. Drink 2025-2040."

"The 2020 Brut Nature Coin Gris is redolent of dried herbs, chalk, mint, dried flowers, white pepper and a kiss of French oak. Intensely mineral and driving, the Coin Gris confers energy, tension and persistence. There's a bit more oak influence than in some of the other wines, but it works well in this decidedly vinous style. Impressive. No dosage. Disgorged: May 2024."

"Hailing from an east-facing lieu-dit in Oger planted to massal selection in 1954, Domaine Vincey™s 2020 Blanc de Blancs Oger Coin Gris is a powerful, vinous Champagne from a generally open, sun-kissed vintage. With patina imparted by year-long maturation in oak barrels (about 20% new, mostly from Tonnellerie Chassin), it explodes from the glass with aromas of stone fruit, coconut and pastries. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated with succulent acidity, its profile defines both the character of Oger and Vincey™s winemaking practices, offering many gastronomic possibilities around the table. Disgorged in May 2024 without dosage, it™s the most textural, broad-shouldered wine in the range."
