"The 2022 Chenin Blanc (Amador County) is a mix of young vines and a new site at 2,000 feet in elevation. Strong mineral and savory inflections give the 2022 striking delineation and tension. This understated, classy Chenin is so expressive. Green pear, spice, mint and dried flowers linger. I especially admire the precision here."

"Smells of grapefruit and pear skin. Bright saline flavours of Asian pear and grapefruit have a crystalline, quartz-like brightness as fantastic acidity and a touch of salinity add complexity and tingle the salivary glands. A hint of vanilla and white flowers lingers in the finish. VGV (AY)"
