"A bright yellow straw color, the 2021 Champagne Grand Cru Mesnil-sur-Oger Lieu Dit Chemin De Chalons Brut Nature is also 100% Chardonnay, and I love the elegance it carries. Medium-bodied and airy, featuring lime pith, it has a frothy, light, zesty, crisp mousse. It becomes clearer and greener, with apple notes as it opens, featuring bright acidity and a salty finish that makes it very pretty. The nose is fresh and has a fresh vintage feel. I really enjoyed the wines from Domaine Vincey this year. Drink this one over the coming 15 or so years."

"The 2020 Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Chemin de Châlons, sourced from an old massal selection in a southeast-facing plot located next to Chétillon, is another success this year. Disgorged in May 2024 without dosage and matured for a full year in oak barrels (about 20% new), it delivers a more demonstrative, muscular Le Mesnil interpretation compared to Auge, informed by a bit deeper clay topsoil and a warmer mesoclimate. Marine Vincey reveals that fruit in Chemin de Châlons reaches full maturity about six days earlier than in Auge. Jumping from the glass with scents of yellow stone fruit, beeswax and brioche, it™s a textural, fleshy wine with ripe but lively acidity, complemented by pillowy mousse."
