"The 2023 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) shows just how compelling the vintage is, even among appellation-level wines. Apricot, peach, tangerine peel and tropical inflections all grace a Chardonnay that offers notable brightness and fruit depth. Layered and enveloping, the 2023 is seriously gorgeous. I like it even more today than I did a year ago."

"Failla is a path of passion for winemaker Ehren Jordan. He focuses on cool-climate sites and cool-climate friendly grapes including Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Chardonnay. This Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a beautiful example of how cool-climate expressions of this grape can shine. The nose is fragrant with notes of jasmine, citrus, and green herbs. The palate is elegant with supple depth and wonderful acidity. It's a pleasure to sip."
