"A powerful wine to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Mousse, the NV Champagne Hommage A Cuisles 100 Ans Extra Brut is entirely Meunier from 2020 and pours a rich golden/straw color. Ample and brothy, it opens to savory, layered notes of kirsch, crystalized ginger, smoky earth, and tarragon. It's ripe and expansive through the palate as well, offering a fine mousse, a good deal of pithy tannic structure, and a bit of warmth on the finish. While it has modest acidity, with warmer vintages such as this, it will have the ability to age nicely due to its grippy texture. Drink 2024-2036."

"The NV Brut Hommage à Cuisles is a savory, driven expression of 100% Meunier with abundant floral notes, savory herbs and strong mineral overtones that extend the finish brilliantly. Medium in body but also deep, the low dosage (1 gram per liter) is stark but impeccably judged. This powerful, vinous champagne has a ton to offer. Disgorged: December 19, 2022."
