Cabernet Sauvignon 'Massal 1945'

• Cabernet Sauvignon
• Sourced from Clos de Luz’s old Almahue’s Cabernet Sauvignon block that had some random Malbec plants present
• Fine loam with a granite bedrock, which has some quartz and iron
• Hand harvested
• Fermented with indigenous yeast
• 40% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of different uses, 10% of the wine for 10 months in concrete tank, 6% in new 500L French oak Sylvain, and 44% in 7000L Taransaud oak tank
