• Sourced from an 18-year-old vineyard, situated on a rocky mountainside site on the Gabriëlskloof property
• A combination of Overberg shale and Table Mountain sandstone soils
• Hand harvested into small cates and transferred directly into a cold room
• All fruit was destemmed
• Fermented naturally with daily pump overs until fermentation stopped
• Pressed 2 weeks later
• Aged for 14 months in French barrels, 30% new oak
