"The 2023 Cabernet Franc Detert East Block is one of those wines I never thought I would have a chance to taste again, as production is limited and the 2023 disappeared as soon as it was offered. From barrel, the 2023 was dense and quite powerful. Since then, it has developed into an elegant, wonderfully refined wine that captures all the best qualities of this Oakville site as seen through the lens of Franc."
