Zeltinger Schlossberg
Schlossberg is mineral to the MAX! A great Grand Cru site composed of medium-grained Devonian slate as topsoil with a deeper subsoil of decomposed slate mixed with loam.

"The 2019 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling trocken Bömer opens with a clear, ripe and intense oaky-scented bouquet of black olive and candied white fruits. On the palate, the oak is quite dominating and definitely asks for a big glass to step back. Yet even here (in a Riedel Burgundy glass), this Mosel Riesling pretends to be a white Burgundy... However, I have had more impressive vintages of this wine, which is still good yet far from being exciting. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in May 2022."
