• Both distillates double distilled in copper pot stills
• Akkeshi new make was sent to Mars Tsunuki for maturation where both distillates were aged a minimum 5 years before blending; non-age statement

The Mars Malt Duo series explores what happens when two prestige Japanese distilleries collaborate to create something completely unique. This bottling is a real treat for fans of both houses (and will eventually have a sister-blend from Akkeshi that incorporates Tsunuki distillate matured in Hokkaido) or for any aficionado still exploring the influence of Kagoshima’s hot and humid microclimate on an elegant malt distillate.
