"Always a pleasure to drink Ricciteli's Bastardo (Trousseau), produced from old, ungrafted vines in Patagonia. This vintage again shows its trademark purity and liveliness in a wine that glides through the palate with both ease and energetic grip. Sour cherry, pomegranate, red plum and gooseberry at the juicy core, drenched in pink grapefruit juice and infused with white tea. The tannins are subtle and zesty. A wine that's hard to put down."

"Oranges and sliced strawberries with roses. Medium- to full-bodied with chewy tannins that are angular and bright. Tight at the end. Drink now or hold."
