"This is showing aromas of grilled herbs, peppercorns, tobacco and black fruit. Full-bodied, savory and meaty, with well-integrated tannins and delicious spice notes on the long finish. 50% syrah and 50% xinomavro. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"Deep crimson. Peppery black fruit, with a hint of crushed stones as well as a light herbal/floral note, but not in any way green. Oak is subtle but present in both texture and flavour. Tannins are still firm, smoothly chewy, a slightly leathery feel as the tannins continue to resolve, then more chalky-dry on the finish. You really do feel the presence of both varieties in the aroma and flavour but they are well meshed, and the finish is long and fresh. Still youthful and only just starting to show some more complex flavours of bottle age such as black olives. Lots of fruit. You could enjoy this now with food or put it away for several more years. GV (JH)"
