The Taurino family has been growing grapes in Puglia for 7 generations. Today, the estate stretches 80 ha. of vineyards planted almost exclusively to the native grapes Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. The wines showcase earth, spice & fruit notes with an authentic, down to Earth wine-making style.
We had the fortune of meeting the Masserie Dugento owner, Giordano Emo Capodilista, at VinItaly a few years ago and were blown away by the price-quality ratio of his exceptional reds. In revisiting the wines recently, that memory was reinforced with two excellent and extremely drinkable expressions of Primitivo and Negroamaro.
