REGION: Mendoza

Matías’ winery is located in Lujan de Cuyo’s Vistalba district, which is lower in elevation than the Uco Valley, but has a longer history of viticulture and thus much older average vine age. The wines are energetic, see minimal-intervention, and offer exceptional value, even at the higher end.

Andrea Mufatto and Gerardo Michelini started their winery in 2019 alongside their son Manuel. They are situated at the foot of the Andes in one of the highest elevations of the Uco Valley where the soil contains some of the richest components of calcium carbonate and granite in all of South America.
