Since its beginning, the Santa Barbara winery has always had two principal objectives: to reintroduce the Marche region’s indigenous grape varieties and to craft wines of great personality that appeal to international tastes while respecting the tradition of the Marche land.

At the top of a hill in Cingoli, between the Apennine mountains and the Adriatic Sea, stands Tenuta di Tavignano. Owners Stefano Aymerich di Laconi and his wife Beatrice Lucangeli have devoted themselves to the production of high-quality wines based on the region’s most noble grape: Verdicchio.
