St. George Spirits

Based in Alameda, California, St. George Spirits is an independently owned and operated distillery with a reputation for excellence spanning over four decades. St. George was founded in 1982 by Jörg Rupf, a pioneer of the American craft spirits movement, and is today helmed by Master Distiller Lance Winters and Head Distiller Dave Smith. The legacy, experience, and commitment to quality shared by these three entrepreneurs and their team have made St. George’s distinguished evolution possible, from the award-winning eau-de-vie first produced by Jörg in the ’80s and ’90s to the portfolio of prized brandies, single malts, gins, vodkas, absinthe, and liqueurs for which the distillery is now known worldwide.
