Raen Winery

RAEN Winery was founded in 2013 by Carlo & Dante Mondavi, the two sons of Tim Mondavi. After working with their father in building Continuum, they decided to go off on their own and venture out to the West Sonoma Coast to make cool climate Pinot Noir that can stand on its own on the world stage.

Carlo, Dante, and their team focus on sustainable farming of prized coastal sites to create outstanding, site-expressive wines. In 2016, they launched the Monarch Challenge to promote clean farming practices and enhance biodiversity in Sonoma and Napa. Their Freestone Occidental vineyard, a certified organic wildlife rescue site, hosts a released bobcat and fox. Carlo is a prominent industry advocate and co-founder of Monarch Tractor, which addresses the challenges highlighted by the Monarch Challenge.
