At M. Dean Cellars, we harness what nature provided us into wines that everyone will enjoy. Inspired by the adventurous spirit of California, we craft wines that delight wine lovers at every stage of their journeys – wines that are both approachable and elegant. The first release of wines from M. Dean Wines celebrate classic California profiles of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Michael Dean has developed a great reputation as a wine importer for over 35 years. Known for bringing impeccable wines to wine lovers across the country, now he brings you M. Dean, a California name you can trust to deliver similarly high-quality wines with exceptional value.

Michael has traveled far and wide to wine regions around the world establishing many life-long friendships with winemakers. Michael recruited one of these friends, the renowned winemaker Alisa “AJ” Jacobson, to help make his vision a reality. As a UC Davis graduate respected for her craft, AJ was making wines for 19 years at Joel Gott Wines, before teaming up with Michael to create M. Dean Cellars.

Every vineyard is an alchemy of soil, water, and air. We source our grapes from vineyards that show balance in all three elements. That makes for approachable and delicious wines.

Our wines reflect the range of the California style with bold and elegant flavors. Small lots are selected from each vineyard source and blended to showcase the best of the vintage.
