"Cool and youthful, with a wealth of herbal and spicy complexity, this well-structured, medium-bodied dry Mosel shows ample body for just 11.5% alcohol. Long, crisp and stony finish. A cuvee of wines from vines averaging 60 years of age. Drink or hold."

"The 2024 Riesling Zeltinger Alte Reben trocken was picked in the Zeltingen sites of Himmelreich and Sonnenuhr from 60-year-old vines. It fermented in Fuder. Tender flintiness combines with tart green and red apple on the nose. The body has lovely fill, apple savor and mouth-watering, ripe tartness. The 2024 is really appetizing and animating with its directness and slenderness. Bone-dry"

"I love the aromas of peaches, wild roses and wild herbs of this very attractive and well-structured dry Mosel riesling. Excellent concentration on the medium-bodied palate, with stacks of herbal and spicy nuances in the long and polished finish. A cuvee of wines from the Himmelreich and Sonnenuhr sites of Zeltingen. Drink or hold."

"Potent and savory, this wine leads with petrol, green apple skin and tinned peach notes backed by acacia funk and macadamia, plus wisps of cardamom and star anise. Though dry, there™s a certain decadence to this white™s generous body, which is expertly balanced by a tug of fruit skin bitterness through the long, radiating finish. Drink now through 2043."K.B."

"The 2023 Riesling Zeltinger Alte Reben trocken comes from the Schlossberg, Himmelreich and Sonnenuhr sites in Zeltingen, with vines averaging 60 years old. Subtle herbal savor offers yarrow and a touch of tansy. The palate is serene, concentrated and beautifully tangy, with citric brightness. This very restrained wine is full of direction, offering depth rather than strength and a long echo."

"Expansive nose of yellow peach, apricot and mandarin orange, with a touch of yeastiness from extended lees contact. The initial impression is juicy and creamy, then excellent concentration on the mid-palate. The minerals build as it moves briskly over the palate. Very long, wet stone and grapefruit zest finish. Drink or hold."

"A well-balanced version of the trocken style, with nice fleshiness to the persimmon, spiced apple and kumquat flavors carrying the vivid acidity and bitter kick on the finish. Shows nice cut and energy, with notes of wet slate and dried green herbs lingering in the background. 200 cases imported. - KB"

"Predominantly from the lower part of the Himmelreich and from up to 45-year-old vines, the 2022 Zeltinger Riesling trocken "Alte Reben" opens with a fine and flinty, very mineral and deep bouquet with ripe but delicate, rather warm and fine fruit aromas. Savory and saline on the palate, this is a pure, fine, very stimulating and crunchy structured Riesling with remarkable complexity and length. It's tight and wonderfully astringent as well as long and aromatic without being overly fruity. Needs time. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023."

"This smells like button mushrooms and tastes like fresh melon, taking a hint of late harvest ripeness into a vibratingly fresh, mineral-driven riesling. It shows some development, finishing with a note of dried hay, while overall this is savory and strong."
