"I love this super-elegant dry Rheingau riesling that has great racy energy and terrific precision on the very focused, medium-bodied palate. Wonderfully subtle aromas of white peaches, gooseberries and bergamot. Super-long, highly structured finish that suggest this has a long future ahead of it. From three parcels in this site. Fermented and matured in large oak casks. Drink from release."

"The 2023 Riesling Hattenheimer Wisselbrunnen Grosses Gewächs grew on marl soils with quartzite. Peach skin seems to be imbued with tansy on the nose, wrapped in a lovely, flinty note of reduction. The palate is a bundle of energy, pushing forward with arrows of peach flesh, green orange and tangerine. This packs quite the punch. It is sleek but with all the generosity of the site. Bone-dry"

"Lovely nose of white peach, then a juicy and elegant palate that exactly balances ripeness and mineral freshness. Joyful and expressive, the finish long and succulent, subtle and easily dry enough for the dining table. Drink or hold."

"The 2021 Riesling Hattenheimer Wisselbrunnen Grosses Gewächs was grown on deeper soils with quartzite veins running through the vineyard. Once again, there is a touch of topicality alongside a note of sun-warmed boxwood. The palate is, in a way, drying and dusty but beautifully pithy, with a citrus depth. It is the length that gets you, the balanced, juicy zestiness. The interesting thing here is that the charms do not show immediately. This only comes to you on the finish but remains all the more present with zesty length. (Bone-dry)"

"A seductive, well-crafted version, with a lacy, lifted quality to its elderflower blossom flavors, followed by a fleshy palate of peach, persimmon and melon. A roasted agave note and a salty mineral vein give this an appealing margarita quality. Succulent acidity and an earthy, herbaceous vein make for the weighty, persistent finish. - KB"

"This beauty marries a wealth of yellow stone fruits with delicate herbal and flinty nuances and serious concentration, all packed into a sleek silhouette. Major flinty minerality on the long, filigree finish. Needs a few years to reach its peak, but could be drunk from release."
