"The 2023 Terrantez do Pico was produced with this very scarce and expensive grape variety, which is different from the Terrantez from Madeira sourced from Toledos and Criação Velha. The full clusters were pressed, and the must fermented in three well-seasoned, neutral 650-liter barrels with indigenous yeasts, and it went through partial malolactic. It has a honeyed twist but a very vibrant palate with more acidity than the other varietal bottlings, with a moderate 12% alcohol, a pH of 3.3 and 6.66 grams of acidity. 2,436 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024."
